The main goal of this conference is to bring together key scientists with various back- ground and expertise, both physicists and mathematicians, (young researchers are welcome) working in the field of nonlinear science in order to discuss the main directions of development, achievements and perspectives, to further develop ex- isting connections and (or) establish new links between three main branches of nonlinear science: SOLITONS, COLLAPSES and TURBULENCE. The topics will range from nonlinear optics, plasma physics, hydrodynamics, solid state physics, differential geometry, string theory, and gravity, to soliton theory, combining the inverse scattering transform and recent approaches to exact integrable and near integrable models, wave collapse physics, turbulence and chaos. It is planned to have a balance mix of theory, experiment and industrial applications and organize a truly interdisciplinary conference.
Moreover, we are happy to announce that at the same time with the conference the scientific school
“Nonlinear days” will take place. The aim of this workshop is to prepare postgraduate students & early carrier researchers and get them familiar with materials related to the conference topics.
The conference and scientific school will be held in the city of
Yaroslavl of the Russian Federation from
August 5 to 9,
2019.
The conference and scientific school venue is the IT-company "
Tensor", 36
Uglichskaya str., Yaroslavl. Tensor's website: http://tensor.ru/
Accommodation should be booked by the participants. We suggest the hotel Park Inn, opposite to Yaroslavl's main train station, 8 minutes walk from the conference venue. To book a room, visit the hotel's website:
- https://www.parkinn.ru/hotel-yaroslavl
However, if you prefer to stay in the city centre, we suggest the following hotels:
Or you can find a big variety of hotels, guest houses and/or flats at http://booking.com/. If you decide you stay in the city centre, there are plenty of buses going frequently to the train station (10 minutes journey).
In order to participate in the conference, you need to register. For registration, please apply at this website, by clicking the green button «Apply» in the upper left corner of this webpage.
If you wish to give a talk at the conference, then, when you apply at the website, please choose the role of "Speaker" and upload the abstract of your potential talk in TeX format.
The abstract length should not exceed two pages. No more than two talk abstracts can be submitted by the same author (and a potential second talk must be with a coauthor participating in the conference). The abstract template can be found in the section «Files» in the bottom of this webpage.
The organisers will take into consideration the submitted abstracts and will inform the registered participants about the available possibilities: either give a talk or present a poster. The collection of abstracts will be published before the beginning of the conference.
In the end of the Home-page you can find
- a preliminary Conference Programme;
- a preliminary list of Participants (local participants appear in Cyrillic characters, while out-of-Russia participants appear in Latin).
Внизу главной страницы можно найти
- предварительную программу конференции;
- предварительный список участников (местные участники написаны кириллическими буквами, а участники из-за границы латинскими буквами)
