On May 16 – 17, 2017 the State University of Humanities and Social Studies holds the Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference (with international participation), devoted to the Days of Slavic Writing and Culture.

 The Conference will provide an environment for discussion of the following issues:

1.     History of Slavic history and culture. Topical problems of teaching languages, history and culture of the Slavic peoples.

2.     Problems of Christianization and exploration of the Slavic world in domestic and foreign historiography.

3.     Topical problems of modern Russian language and the history of the Russian language.

4.     The Slavic factor in the history of culture and literature of the peoples of Russia: problems of intercultural communication.

5.  The role of the state and society in the popularization of Slavic writing and culture (the experience of different countries).

 Philologists, historians, art expert, teachers, senior students, post-graduate students are welcome to participate.  Conference participants will be given certificates.

You are requested to present a concise and factual abstract of your research which will be listed on the website of the State University of Humanities and Social Studies http://www.kolomna-kgpi.ru/

 In the framework of the plenary session, you will be allotted 15 minutes for your presentation. In the framework of thematic session, you will be allotted 10 minutes for your presentation.

Conference proceedings will be published in two parts:

1^st part: articles of academic staff and post-graduate students are to be published in a special thematic edition of “Herald of the State University of Humanities and Social Studies”;

2^nd part: theses of bachelor and undergraduate students will be presented on a disc.

The electronic version of the conference proceedings (in two parts) will be presented on the websites of the faculty of history, management and service http://fius-mgosgi.ru and the philological faculty http://www.mgosgi-fil.ru/, in E-Library.ru.

 Requirements to the formatting of articles:

•                     both hard and digital copies of manuscripts should be submitted.;

•                     manuscripts must be typed in Microsoft Word Processor; the file must be titled with the author’s surname;

•                     font – Times New Roman, font size – 14, width  aligned;

•                     pictures – in JPEG, PNG;

•                     line spacing – 1,5;

•                     the whole text should be from 6 up to10 pages;

•                     page numbers – in the centre;

•                     hyphenation – automatically;

•                     paragraph indention - 0,7 – automatically;

•                     all margins – 2.0 cm;

•                     footnotes in Arabic must be placed at the bottom of the page automatically;

•                     a bibliography list is to be arranged at the end of the article on GOST, in alphabetical order;
