YOUNG SCIENTISTS

“Biodiversity and wildlife conservation ecological issues”

DEAR COLLEAGUES!

We invite you to take part at the International scientific conference of young scientists “Biodiversity and wildlife conservation ecological issues” (dedicated to the 70th anniversary of National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia) which will be held on May 3-5, 2013.

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVE

The conference objective is to find out new solutions for the current issues of modern botany, zoology, nature protection and nature use; to establish contacts between young scientists from different countries, to exchange research results and experience.

Young scientists, lecturers, students from institutional and educational organizations and young workers from governmental and non-governmental organizations are invited to participate at the upcoming conference. Participants should not be older than 35 years old.

Proposals can be submitted for plenary, oral or poster presentations. Tours are planned in Tsaghkadzor town, the Botany garden of Sevan town; a cruise on Lake Sevan on a research vessel.

Conference participation – in-person and virtual.

Working languages of the conference – Armenian, Russian, English.

Accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings including the assignment of codes ISBN, UDC and BBK, distribution to libraries, registration in the Armenian Book Chamber. Authors will have received the copies of the proceedings by July 30, 2013.

CONFERENCE THEMES

- Biodiversity and conservation of flora and fauna. Species, communities and ecosystems.

- Diversity and conservation of animals and plants. ex-situ and in-situ biodiversity conservation issues.

- Climate change impact on ecosystems.

- Legal and economic basics of nature use and protection.

INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPATION

Application for participation at the conference should be sent till March 5, 2013 by e-mail: bioconf2013@gmail.com.

Attention! The reply letter of the organizing committee will be the guarantee of your application reception by us. If you will not receive a confirmation within a week from the date of application sending, please duplicate the application or contact the organizing committee.

Report text in accordance with the requirements should be sent till March 20, 2013, a copy of receipt acknowledging payment of the registration fee - till April 15, 2013.

ATTENTION: registration fee should be paid only after the organizing committee will accept a full paper for publication in the Conference Proceedings of scientific works and inform authors about it by email.

Registration fee:

- Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and developing countries - 20?,

students - 10?

- Developed countries - 30?, students - 15?

- Armenia - 5? (2500 AMD).

Conference tours and accommodation (including food) during the conference days are free of charge. Rooms in the YFA Youth Center of Tsakhkadzor will be reserved for conference participants.
