International scientific conference of students and young scientists "Lomonosov-2018"

In 2018 International scientific conference of students and young scientists «Lomonosov» will be held from 9th to 13th April at Lomonosov Moscow State University. International conference «Lomonosov» will take place within the framework of the International scientific youth forum "Lomonosov-2018". The co-chairmen of the organizing committee of the forum "Lomonosov-2018" are the rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University Academic Victor Antonovich Sadovnichiy and the Minister of science and education of the Russian Federation Olga Yurevna Vasilyeva.

The main aims of the conference are development of the creativity of students, postgraduates and young scientists, their incorporation in the search for solutions to the challenges of modern science, development and maintenance of a common international scientific and educational space, as well as the establishment of contacts between future colleagues.

In 2018 there are 37 sections and over 350 subsections reflecting all the main areas of modern fundamental and applied sciences.

Students (specialists, bachelors and masters), postgraduate students and young scientists from any country in the world under the age of 35 — students and staff of Russian and foreign universities, postgraduates and staff of academic institutions are invited to participate in the conference.

Official languages of the conference: Russian and English.

Upon the proposal of expert councils of the conference’s sections and the decision of the organizing committee, authors of the best applications (specially invited participants) will be offered free accommodation in the dormitory of MSU from 8 to 14 of April 2018.

Those wishing to participate in the conference should send their report’s thesis to the organizing committee between 1st of November 2017 and 1st of March 2018 (inclusive) ONLY using the electronic registration system to be able to take part in the screening for further participation. You can apply through the scientific and education portal «Lomonosov» (lomonosov-msu.ru). Applications received by email are neither considered nor registered.

Expertise and competitive selection of applications are carried out by expert councils (jury) of the conference’s sections, headed by leading scientists of Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Russian Academy of Sciences. The invitation of selected participants is carried out by the organizing committee upon the proposal on expert councils no later than two weeks prior to the conference.
