VII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Federalism in the Contemporary Public Law"(hereinafter - Conference, FCPL-2024) will be held on November 5-15, 2024 in the walls of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow State Institute of International Relations, Kutafin Moscow State Law University, Institute of Scientific Information for Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences and St. Petersburg State University.
The conference will be held in a face-to-face format with the possibility of online connection. The work of all sections will be broadcast on Youtube channel.
The Conference is open to:
- undergraduate students;
- graduate students;
- postgraduate students;
- young scientists;
- current researchers;
- professors.
Conference working languages: Russian, English.
An electronic certificate of participation will be sent to each participant who has personally participated in the Conference sessions.

- "History and Theory of Federalism";
- "Regional Integration under Uncertainty: Optimism and Realism";
- "Comparative Federalism";
- "Fiscal Federalism and Spatial Development";
- "Federalism in Law and Practice";
- "Federalism and Civil Society";
- "Problems of Federalism and Local Self-Governance in Russia ".
Panel discussions:
- "Federalism Between Republic and Empire";
- "Institutional and Non-Institutional Factors in the Development of Federal Systems".
Requirements for the research paper:
- The work has not been previously published and has scientific novelty;
- Office Word text file;
- 12 Times New Roman font;
- Single line spacing;
- Citation style Vancouver, paginated numbering under the main text;
- The work should contain the title (title of the topic);
- Articles should not be fewer than 3,000 words and should not exceed 10,000 words;
- Originality: 70% or more.
Please note! In case of non-compliance with the established rules (incomplete data about the author, exceeding the established volume of the papers, etc.) the Organising Committee may refuse the participation in the Conference without giving an explanation.
Co-authorship is allowed.
Any participant of the Conference may attend any session as a listener.
